Movie Viewing-- Wizard of Oz



Today, 5A, 5B and 5C gathered in Endeavour Learning Centre to view the movie, Wizard of Oz.
Two questions I would like 5A to ponder:-
1. What would you want from the Wizard if he could grant you one wish?
2. Dorothy, the main character, used her ruby slippers to send herself back to Kansas. Given a chance to
   change the plot, how would you want to send her back?

    I would like to be a more helpful person if the wizard were to ever grant me a wish. If i were to ever change the plot of the story, i would make dorothy to meet her family and the family got to grant a wish from the wizard, also, they would also stay at the place forever and there are no more evil witches.

    I would want to be a millionaire if the wizard were to grant me a wish.If i were to to ever change the plot of the story, I will put a spell on the ruby slippers so that Dorothy can come back to the land of Oz whenever she wants.

    1.I would like to have magic power to save people from some countries as the places have natural disasters, people which are poor, have some mental illness and people who lost their family members, save the earth, have a wonderful life with my family and wish every one a happily life forever.
    2.I will give her a spell on her body so she can live in the land of Oz forever with the good witch of the North.

    I would want everyone in the world to be more helpful,kind and wish no mishaps will happen in our homeland. I will want the bad witch to know her mistakes and let go of the fact that her sister is dead. I will hope she will personally bring Dorothy back to her home and never bully Toto again.

    I would want my family and I to lead a blissful life if the wizard could grant me a wish.I would want the good witch to teach Dorothy a spell that she could use to go back to her house in Kansas and also to the Land of Oz.In this way,she could bring her uncle and aunt to visit this wonderful place and she could visit her friends too.

    1. If the wizard can grant me a wish, I wish to have super powers and would be famous in the whole world!
    2. I would want the good witch to cast a spell on Dorothy that she can teleport to all the places that she want to go to.

    1)I would like not to be scolded everyday by my teachers and i want to have good results for my PSLE. 2)I would like the good witch to teach Dorothy a spell so that she can bring her family to visit this wonderful place and she could learn more spells from the good witch.

    If I were to have a chance to change the storyline of the Wizard of Oz,I would ask the good witch to cast a spell on Dorothy^s world to have a day when all people will truly understand together and live in harmony.Secondly,I would like the good witch to put a good spell on her ruby shoes which enables Dorothy to return to her own time and come back to the fantasy land whenever she want to.

    1)i wll want my skin to recover,smooth and beautiful.
    2)I will sent her back in a pony ride.It can fly up to the sky and bring Dorothy back home.And when Dorothy Want to go back to that wonderful land,she just clap her hand 5 times,then it can go back to that wonderful land.

    1)I would like to have a time machine to go back to the prehistoric time and learn about the dinosaurs and have a crystal ball to show what will happened in the future.
    2)I would ask the good witch to create a magical dragon to send Dorothy back home and can go back to the land to visit her friends.

    1) I would like to have wizard power so that i can cast a spell anytime i want so that i do not need to worry if i have any diffulties doing something
    2) I would change it to Dorothy having a TELEPORT portal wherever she goes so that if she wants to go to HER house she just need to step in the portal and it will teleport her to HER house

    1. I would wish that all the unfortunate happenings that happened in the world NEVER happened at all, including the terrorist group, Al-Qaeda tho turn over a new leaf and stop bombing everywhere and endanger people's lives. And I will not wish to be rich as I believe money cannot buy neither happiness nor time.
    2. I would make a charm for Dorothy so that whenever she wants to vist the magnificent land she can just rub the charm 3 times, and if she wants to go home, she can just rub it again.

    2)I would ask the good witch to give her a unicorn that fly as fast as lightning and a whistle. Whenever she wants to go to the wonderful place,she just have to blow the whistle ,and the unicorn will come and bring her to the wonderful place.
