The largest orchid in the world is known as the tiger orchid. Its yellow colored flowers with dark red spots got it the name the “tiger orchid”, which can grow up to 13 inches in diameter.
I learnt that we can preserve flowers that can last for years by the oven-run method. We need to select a good bloom in order to make it look good. I think that this is a very useful way to preserve flowers as we can make other things such as bookmarks. I think that my favorite flower is the Orchid because it is beautiful and it is our national flower's "family member".

When a wasp goes out to look for another wasp to mate with, it is then fooled by a fake wasp on the orchid. The real wasp lands on the fake wasp to mate and then bounces onto the orchid and the wasp is then filled with pollen grains. When the real wasp flies away, the pollen grains land on another orchid and fertilisation begins.
